The Buxton Manor Apartments is a glorious, large Mansion built in 1908 in the William Morris 'Arts & Craft' theme of decorative red brick with steep sloping roof lines and beveled diamond shaped, lead lighted windows, surrounded by half an acre of beautifully manicured, welcoming gardens with masses of old fashioned scented roses, cottage flowers and sweeping lawns. It has been heritage listed by the government and completely restored by your hosts, Rodney & Regina Twiss.
The Buxton Manor Heritage Apartments houses a fantastic collection of Australian antiques and memorabilia and features open log fires, polished spruce floors, decorative fireplaces, marbleized ceilings, rag rolled faux paint finishes, ornate ceiling roses, gilt mirrors and sumptuous antique beds.
The Buxton Manor Heritage Apartments offers 4 separate, lavish self contained spacious, luxury 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments as well as the very special, luxury 1 bedroom Spa Cottage, ideally located in the heart of the exclusive historic area of North Adelaide, part of the City of Adelaide.
The 2 Bedroom 'George Lowe Esquire' Apartment features 2 bedrooms, grand living and dining room, full kitchen, front porch and bathroom.
The 1 Bedroom 'Musica Viva' Apartment features a spacious master bedroom, huge intimate drawing room, chesterfields, bedroom annex, full kitchen and bathroom.
The 2 Bedroom 'Buxton' Apartment, features two master bedrooms, huge heritage bathroom, club drawing room, full kitchen, cellar dining room and sunroom.
The 3 Bedroom Executive Apartment, is a fully self contained, 3 bedroom apartment offering a full kitchen, separate living room, with French doors opening out to sweeping lawns.
The 1 Bedroom Luxury Spa Cottage, 'Paprika Cottage', features 1 queen size bedroom, bathroom with 2 person spa, kitchen, sitting room and front private latticed porch.
All guest accommodation is newly refurbished, beautifully appointed, spacious and non smoking featuring heritage style furnishings, stunning antiques, luxury elegant wooden finishes throughout and private courtyard opening onto an acre of beautiful gardens and lawns with outdoor designer furniture, umbrellas and 2 wood fire BBQs. There is complimentary off street car parking for each apartment, a communal guest laundry and wireless internet as well!
All accommodation is self catering and does not include daily maid servicing unless otherwise specified. (For stays of 5 nights or more a maid service will occur once during your stay.
The Buxton Manor Heritage Apartments maintains a strict no-noise policy and unauthorized parties, group gatherings and functions are strictly prohibited. Breach of this policy will result in the offending guests being required to leave the premises with no refund. Smoking is not permitted indoors. Should smoking occur within our accommodation a minimum charge of AUD$100 will be applied.

Buxton Manor Apartments's Cancellation Policy
  • You may cancel your booking at anytime before 5pm, 30 days prior to arrival.
  • If you cancel your booking after the specified period, or if you fail to show up, Buxton Manor Apartments will charge you one night's accommodation for each apartment that you have booked and your deposit will not be refunded.

  • Not1Night will charge an administration fee of $10.00 AUD for online cancellations and $15.00 AUD for cancellations or changes made by phone or email.



   Deposits Policy

To secure your booking, we require a 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost. This will be deducted from your credit card at the time of the booking.  In addition, Buxton Manor Apartments will charge your credit card the remainder of the total amount 30 days before arrival.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM ADELAIDE AIRPORT TO BUXTON MANOR APARTMENTS:
Depart the terminal via Sir Richard Williams Avenue.
Turn RIGHT onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive.
Follow this road, through about five sets of main traffic lights or for approximately 10-15 minutes (depending on the traffic).
At the sixth set of traffic lights, at West Terrace, turn LEFT.
Merge into the right lanes and at the end of the street turn RIGHT onto North Terrace.
Merge into the left lane.
After the pedestrian traffic lights outside the Skycity Casino, turn LEFT at the next intersection at Parliament house - King William Road.
Take beautiful King William Rd north, cross over the bridge over the River Torrens, past the Adelaide Oval, past St Peters Anglican Cathedral and up the hill where the road becomes O'Connell St - North Adelaide's restaurant and café precinct.
From O'Connell St, turn LEFT down Gover St (one after Tynte St) and continue over Jeffcott St.
You are now on Buxton Street.
Buxton Manor Apartments is on the LEFT side of the street just over halfway down. Look for a large red brick Manor House with twin driveways and sunken garden and a red brick heritage fence.
