Orewa is a popular holiday destination with a long sandy beach which is considered to be one of the safest in Auckland. Orewa Beach is 3 km long and patrolled by the surf club in the summer months. Its gentle surf provides great conditions for a host of watersports including surfing, kite-surfing, bodyboarding and swimming.

The holiday park also borders a calm water estuary with an onsite boat ramp, the ideal place to launch your boat for fishing, and for swimming and kayaking. Kayaks are available for hire from the office.
